SOFAZ placed a 6 month deposit with a total value of 1 billion euros with the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. The transaction, which acts as a line of support for the country’s financial stability, was completed on January 27, 2022. The investment is in line with the Fund’s investment strategy and Rules on management of foreign currency assets.
