State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ)

Announcesan OPEN INVITATION TO TENDER

For procurement of GBB 14202S- 0CE model digital scale and set of prototype weighing stones (F1, E2) manufactured by German Sartorius company for weighing gold bars

SOFAZ is state entity established in accordance with Decree №240 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 29, 1999.Information about SOFAZ may be accessed athttp://www.oilfund.az internet page.

According to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State procurement” object of the open tender is purchase of goods for SOFAZ.

Tender procedure shall take place on May 25, 2017, at 11:00 (local time), with opening of tender proposals (packages) at SOFAZ location – 165 Heydar Aliyev avenue, Nizami district, Baku city.

Documents required for submission to participate in tender:

• application for participation in tender;
• full name, legal status, country of incorporation and requisites of contractor;
• information on professional qualifications of contractor;
• tender proposal (submitted together with tender proposal security (bank guarantee) at the amount of 1 percent of tender proposal price);
• bank statement on contractor’s financial standing over the past one year.

Documents required from contractors shall be submitted via fax, e-mail or ordinary post not later than May 15, 2017, 18:00 local time, whereas tender proposals shall be submitted in double envelope signed and sealed not later than May 24, 2017, 18:00 local time to SOFAZ located at 165 Heydar Aliyev avenue, Nizami district, AZ1029, Baku city.

Tender Bidding Documents have been produced in Azerbaijani and translated into English.

Tender participaton fee has been defined at the amount of 100 (hundred) AZN, or 60 (sixty) USD, or 55 (fifty five) EUR.
