Bahruz Bahramov was appointed as Deputy CEO of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) by Presidential Order No. 165 dated June 12, 2024.

Bahruz Bahramov has served as an Adviser to CEO of SOFAZ since 2020. Prior to this role, he held several key positions within SOFAZ's Risk Management and Investment departments, including Deputy Director of the Risk Management department from 2014 to 2016, and Director of the Risk Management department from 2016 to 2020.
