Request for quotations: legal services for SOFAZ 05.03.2002

The State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan intends to engage the services of a legal advisor on issues arising in connection with its international financial activity.
Eligibility:
Applicant should:
be a reputable law firm with a proven track record of legal advising on international financial transactions and contracts;

have a relevant expertise of Emerging Markets, including oil and gas related legal documentation;

have a license granting the applicant the right to provide legal services in the Republic of Azerbaijan;

The interested companies shall submit not later than March 5, 2002 their expressions of interest together with a set of documents:

a) to prove their eligibility (necessary license and certificates)

b) CVs of their local or parent office's staff who might be assigned to provide legal services to SOFAZ

c) List of clients or assignments serviced by the staffers specified in b)

d) Standard legal services agreement

e) Legal services fees (hourly rates or other),
