Within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, master’s students of the Academy visited SOFAZ.

As part of their visit held last week, students first toured the administrative building and museum of SOFAZ and attended the info session conducted by Fund representatives.

Throughout the info session, Elnara Huseynova, Senior Specialist of the Strategic Communication Division, informed the students about the Fund's mission, objectives, and core areas of activity.

Subsequently, Fuad Iskandarov, Senior Trader of the Investment Department, made a presentation on the Fund's investment portfolio and asset management activities. Rufat Ismayilov, Lead Analyst of the Strategic Projects Department, provided information about the Fund's role in strategic projects, oil and gas revenues, while Aysel Sadigli, Senior Specialist of the same department, detailed insights into the educational projects financed by the Fund and their contributions to human capital development.

During the Q&A part, Fund staff addressed the students' inquires and shared their personal experiences and professional recommendations.
